A sleeping baby is a happy baby

….and a baby that makes for photographs like these! The easiest time to get those soft newborn pictures is shortly after a feeding, when your little one is ready for a nap and just wants to sleep for a bit!

But those eyes… are just so precious!

If your little one wakes up, it’s no problem! We can get a few shots of those pretty peepers - plus I have a couple tricks up my sleeve to help keep them calm and comfy :)

BEWARE: naked babies also means pooping babies. I’m prepared for it, but just want to make sure you are too.

Soft moments

Between crying and sleeping, babies have these beautiful moments of just looking around and taking the world around them in! I absolutely love these moments. The secret to a happy awake baby in photos: a soft place for them to lie, and to be swaddled as tight as you can get them!
